Since the third edition of Big Brother Naija began last Sunday, various reactions have been trailing the new Voice of Big Brother and true to its mantra, ‘Double Wahala’ has begun. Nigerians have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the popular voice of the Reality TV show.
While some ardent fans of the show believe the change in Biggie’s voice is a welcome development, some other fans are vividly campaigning for the return of the old big brother’s voice.

In response to the reactions to the new voice of Big Brother, PR Manager of DSTV, Efosa Aiyevbomwan explained the rationale behind the change of Biggie’s voice. According to him, the voice of Big brother is just a fragment of the whole show as the housemates should be the main focus.
‘Every show cannot be the same, although we know the voice is an integral part of the show, viewers should focus on the show, the housemates and everything going on. It is subjective and even though there is a healthy percentage of people who feel this way, there are others who say it’s not that bad. There is a lot of substance that people are not paying attention to, how intelligent is Big Brother, how intelligent are is tone of his interactions? how does he drive conversations?
We are always trying new thing and in every revolutionary process, things change and this is what we want is for people to enjoy the Show’ He concluded.
