A Mass Communications graduate who is admired for her sonorous voice, her style of music, and her creative energy, she was nominated at the MNET-organized ‘Where you at’ Awards as Best Upcoming Female Act and Best Female Act in 2000 alongside Icon Onyeka Onwenu.

Azeezat went on a brief hiatus from recording music to concentrate on the first ‘hair and entertainment magazine’ in Nigeria, Hair’volution in 2010, but returned with her single, My Valentine in 2013.
She has churned out moderate hit singles like Ife, Hold on, Lonely World, Olorun Mi, Keregbe, and has released three studio albums in the course of her career.
