Two years after releasing his widely acclaimed The Life Of Pablo album, American rapper Kanye West has blessed fans with a new album titled YE.
The seven-track project which was self-produced is the rappers eighth studio album. Although the album was officially released this morning (June 1), the rapper treated fans to an exclusive listen last night (May 31) in Wyoming (a western U.S state) where the entire project was said to have been recorded.
Until the private listening, the album title was undisclosed. Veteran comedian Chris Rock made the album title announcement shortly before the tracks were played to the crowd. YE includes vocal contributions from Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, Jeremih, Young Thug, 070 Shake, Charlie Wilson and a voicemail from Nicki Minaj.
The rapper has not yet unveiled the cover art for Ye, although his wife, Kim Kardashian West, revealed he shot the LP’s cover on the way to last night’s listening party.
