Wizkid‘s fans are the most loyal. They have supported Starboy since he was singing ‘Holla at your Boy’ behind Banky W.
When he left EME, they followed him and bought all his CDs. He sang it on ‘Joy’.
So in 2016 that has been his most memorable year so far, these were the 12 ways the fans reacted to news about him, all through the year.
1. In January when Wizkid showed Dammy Krane who really owns the street by smashing a bottle on his head
2. And when people were asking if it’s true that someone else is pregnant for him in February
3. When the boy was born and his mother put a photo on Instagram in March
4. By April, his collaboration with Drake had dropped and the world fans went mad!
5. In May, he announced that his Starboy album would be released this year
6. This was how they reacted when Seyi Shay said ‘One Dance’ with Drake was actually Wizkid’s song in June
7. In July he was just tensioning everybody by saying he just ‘made magic with Alicia Keys’
8. The SONY deal was first announced in August and it was wash-able
9. But that’s how Drake released ‘One Dance’ video in September and betrayed Wizkid by not including him at all
10. Then in October GLO let the devil use them by cancelling Wizzy’s endorsement after only 16 months
11. November was when he announced his 4-city homecoming concerts
12. However he disappointed us all in December
