As Nigerian music legend Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, celebrates his 50th birthday, his wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, has taken to social media to shower him with heartfelt birthday wishes, describing him as the “love of my life” and the “source of my joy.”
In an emotional Instagram post, Osawaru expressed her deep affection and admiration for the iconic singer, who she says has completely transformed her life. “Happy birthday to the love of my life. You are 50! Oh wow! You spaced me with 20 years and you look younger than I do. How ironic,” she wrote with a touch of humor and warmth. “Innocent Ujah Idibia, my husband, words cannot express the joy you’ve brought into my life.”
She continued by reflecting on the impact 2Baba has had on her happiness, adding that 2025 has been her best year yet, thanks to him. “My joy is complete with you in it. This year has been the best of my life. Waking up to you every morning is one of the greatest gifts ever and I thank God for that. Baby, I want to spend each day loving you.”
The couple’s relationship became public earlier this year, following 2Baba’s announcement of his separation from his former wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, in January. At the time, he clarified that his new romance with Osawaru had no connection to the breakup. Their love story quickly blossomed, with 2Baba proposing to Osawaru in February. By April, the relationship received a key sign of family approval when Natasha visited 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, who had initially expressed concerns about the union.
The couple tied the knot in July, marking a new chapter in both their lives.
