It seems Afro pop singer, Yemi Alade, has finally found her Johnny but guess where?…on a Coke bottle!
Coca-Cola has released a brand new television commercial for its popular and ongoing campaign, Share a Coke and it features Yemi Alade alongside some of Nigeria’s finest celebrities – actress, Funke Akindele; comedian, Bovi and Lagos ‘it’ girl, Tania Omotayo in a catchy sing-a-long song, a characteristic notable with Coca-Cola ads.
The one-minute commercial opens up with different characters – including the celebrities – who hold up bottles of Coke with various Nigerian names and monikers.
The commercial comes hot on the heels of the campaign launch by the beverage giant. A platform for sharing happiness among friends and family, the Share a Coke campaign has created quite a buzz all across Nigeria, with consumers searching for their names on cans and bottles of Coke at their local supermarkets.
