Barcelona midfielder, Xavi Hernandez has broken the Champions League record after making his 143rd appearance against PSG on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.
The Spanish player, who came on in the 69th minute to replace his team-mate, Ivan Rakitic in the match his team lost to PSG yesterday, has now surpassed Real Madrid icon, Raul Gonzalez who made 142 appearances in the tournament, easily the most watched tournament in the world after the World Cup.
