Switzerland have progressed to the next stage of the World cup tournament.
The match, against Honduras on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the Arena Amazonia, Manaus, saw the Swiss team eliminate Los Catrachos with a 3 – 0 victory.
The Hondurans had more possession of the ball but failed to score a goal.
An excellent display from Bayern Munich midfielder, Xherdan Shaqiri, who scored a hat-trick, secured Switzerland a spot in the knockout stage.
Switzerland will face Argentina in the next round to move to the quarter finals.
