Spain sealed their last 2014 World cup clash with victory against Australia.
The match, played on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Arena Da Baixada, Curitiba saw the Spanish giants triumph with a 3 – 0 win.
Too bad for the defending champions, who already knew they were out of the tournament after recording two defeats against Netherlands and Chile.
Consolations goals were scored by David Villa, Fernando Torres and Manchester United’s Juan Mata to cheer up the team.
Australia also made their last appearance in the World cup tournament after losing to Chile, Netherlands and Spain.
