A mob in Ikorodu, on Tuesday, caught a woman who allegedly attempted to snatch a baby from her mother’s room.
The woman was caught at Elepe, Ikorodu, Lagos. She was allegedly caught by the child’s mother while she was chanting incantations on the child.
The woman, said to be in her 30s, was said to have confessed to the crime after being beaten.
She reportedly said she was sent by an unnamed man and that she received a sum of N500,000 for every successful kidnap she makes.
Police reportedly arrived to whisk her away before she was mobbed.
