After teasing his forthcoming album for a while, Wizkid finally decided to give his fans and haters alike something to talk about with his latest post on social media.
In a post on his story, he captioned a photo where he was in the studio with “On the day of independence the truth shall set us free”, adding the now-viral “RRR” quote under it.
He made another post almost immediately with the same RRR caption.
The RRR slang refers to ‘Real Recognize Real’ and was made popular recently by popular Comedian and Instagram sensation Josh2funny.
Wizkid known for always passing messages to his fans in a cryptic manner set tongues wagging as to whether his post meant he was dropping the highly anticipated Morayo album on Independence Day.
He announced yesterday that he had something for his fans by 1 pm Nigerian time today and then released this proverb for the fans to decode.
