Nigerian pop star and MOBO award winner ‘Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun has popped up on MTV Iggy’s website as a nominee for ‘MTV Iggy’s Artiste of the Week‘.
Wizkid has been nominated alongside French Indie Euro-electro group Pony Pony Run Run, Japanese duo Sigh, UK pop singer Neon Hitch and Mexican Psych-Rock group Bam Bam.
The act(s) with the most views will be featured on the MTV Iggy homepage with an extensive interview.
Other Nigerian acts that have featured as MTV Iggy artiste of the week included D’banj and Bez. Both lost out.
