As this year’s edition of the prestigious music awards The Headies draws closer, organizers have announced the artistes who will be performing at the much awaited event.
The performers include M.I, Dr. SID, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Waje, Iceprince, Flavour, Sound Sultan, Omawumi, Muna and oLamide.
Tiwa Savage, oLamide, will be making their first time appearances at the awards as well as Iceprince and BrymO who are expected to perform the fan-favourite ‘Oleku’. Rapper M.I also returns to the stage with high-life singer Flavour after his 2009 performance in Abuja.
R&B singer Banky W and Sound Sultan be performing their collabo single ‘Very good bad guy’, which will be followed by ‘Orobo’ remix featuring Flavour.
Waje and Muna will also perform the collaborative effort ‘So inspired’ while Mo’Hits rapper-turned-singer Dr.SID will also be performing hits songs from his debut album ‘Turning Point’.
The urban music awards which is aimed at ‘rewarding musical excellence and outstanding creativity’ will hold at the New Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos on Saturday, October 22, 2011.
