
Nigerian pop star, Wizkid has received his first ever Grammy awards nomination.
Most people expected Wizkid to get several nominations for ‘One Dance’, but his ONLY selection is for featuring on Drake’s rap album, Views.
Drake’s multi-platinum album is nominated for Album of the Year.
The category also include Adele‘s 25, Justin Bieber‘s Purpose, Sturgill Simpson A Sailor’s Guide To Earth, and Beyonce‘s Lemonade.

Wizkid is credited as a featured artiste and producer on Drake’s hit single ‘One Dance’.
Views was named Spotify’s most streamed album of 2016, and his hit ‘One Dance’, which features the Nigerian superstar and Filipino R&B singer, Kyla, was named the most streamed track of 2016.
In November, Wizkid missed out on a number of chances to get his first ever American Music Awards despite three nominations for ‘One Dance’ including Favourite Pop/Rock Song, Favourite Soul/R&B Song, and Collaboration of the Year.
