Darey is no stranger to the big screen. Starting off his musical career on reality tv show Project Fame Academy, his effortless soulful performances endeared him to the audience. Darey has been gracing our television screens for years, with avant-garde videos as well as playing host to some of our favourite shows, he has proven time after time that he is unstoppable.

Coming on the heels of the release of his new single Jah Guide Me, Darey has been announced as a coach on music competition show “The Voice”. His charisma, sharp wit, and likability make him the perfect man for the job.

Darey joined the Project Fame West Africa cast in 2008 as host. Having just contested in a music competition show himself, he was able to relate with the contestants and judges seamlessly while giving the audience the entertaining content they tuned in for.
After his stint as a Judge on Nigerian Idol, Darey returned to the big screen as host of “Access The Stars” proving once again that no one can hold a room like he does. He’s a class act, and an effortless performer who remained unfazed while hosting the first virtual reality music show amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
While he may be a well-known face in front of the camera, Darey has also done a lot of work behind the scenes, too. His production company, Live Spot, is the mind behind famous events such as Livespot X Festival which featured Cardi B in Lagos, Nigeria.
