The Detroit native’s ability to spit fire after fire – verse after verse, telling stories in an undisputed ability to rhyme, and dissing the world, connecting with the trouble of his teenage audience at that time – went undefeated for many years.

So when someone like Drake – who currently holds the heavyweight title as the best rapper right now (just ask Kanye West) – brought Em out on stage in his hometown that had such an impact on his career, it sent chills up any rap fans’ back, sitting in the audience or not.
Simply legendary!
Not to mention, the collab shut down any of those rumors that the two icons have beef.

However, the fact that Drake asked Eminem to join him on the Detroit stop of his tour (and the fact that Eminem agreed to do it) proves not all rappers need to battle it out. Sometimes talented people are capable of praising other talented people.
