The southern leg of R. Kelly‘s After The Party tour came to an end on Sunday, August 27, 2017 after the date originally planned for the show at FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee was abruptly cancelled.
It is speculated that the group of protesters who held up signs which read ‘Mute R. Kelly’ and ‘Sex Trafficking Begins Here’ at Kelly’s show at Wolf Creek Ampitheater in Atlanta were the cause of the cancelled show.
The Memphis show is the fifth show that Kelly has had to cancel on his tour.
