Asked why he’s doing so, he said, ‘I’ve been in politics for over two decades. I’ve been supervisory councilor for two terms, I’ve been special adviser for a term, I’ve been a party LGA exco, I’ve been ward secretary so I’ve been a local politician for a long time. The burning desire to make a change is actually the driving force’.
With the many years he has initially spent in politics, he explained why he left to become an artiste manager only to return to it: ‘First, politics in my view should not be a full time job. Every politician has a job; Asiwaju Tinubu is an accountant, Fashola is a lawyer, Desmond Elliot, Femi Adebayo are all actors. My own job at the moment is artiste management, so it’s not an issue at all’.
