In August 2016, football legend, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, popularly known as ‘Pele‘ will be Nigeria.
For Pele, it’ll be the second time he’s visiting Nigeria after his first visit 50 years ago.

He’ll be in the country for a two-day programme on youth development and empowerment put together by Winihin Jemide Series (WJS) and Youth Experience Days Africa (YEDA).
Pele’s first visit to Nigeria was in 1967 for a two-day ceasefire during the Nigerian civil war.
