While Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, Shane Filan and Nicky Byrne are likely to be on board for the reunion, it’s unclear whether Brian McFadden – who quit the band in 2004 to pursue a solo career – would be interested.
Earlier this year, Nicky revealed the band were planning to make a reunion to mark the 18th anniversary of their 1998 formation but it wasn’t accomplished.
The Irish band’s former manager, Louis Walsh is now working to get musicians together – which is the second trial in 2016.

According to music producer Albert Hammond, Louis has approached him to write new songs for the group that disbanded in 2012.
‘I was with Louis just now in Ireland, and he asked me for some songs because he says, ‘I’m going to bring back Westlife so you can write some songs for me,’ Hammond told Daily Star newspaper.
The music producer is popular for writing Diana Ross‘ 1991 hit track ‘When You Tell Me That You Love Me’, which was later covered by Westlife.
The band’s banging tunes include ‘My Love’, ‘I Have a Dream’, ‘I Lay My Love on You’, ‘Queen Of My Heart’,‘If I Let You Go’, and we still love them.
