In 2015 Omawumi was understandably off the scene because of her pregnancy. In July of that year, her second child was born.
However, she wasn’t the only one who welcomed a child. Her friend, colleague and obvious competitor, Tiwa Savage was in a similar boat.
Fans of both stars hoped for their massive return in 2016. Though Tiwa Savage came to the party loaded with an album, world tours and new deals, Omawumi somehow lost her mojo.
Her latest song with Grammy winner, Angelique Kidjo titled ‘Play na Play’ didn’t get the buzz she hoped for.
Since the video for the song that was released in January failed to generate any buzz, Omawumi gradually slid into oblivion with her only 2016 highlight being her infamous interview walk-out in March.

Though her social media pages are relatively active, but her craft needs an urgent intervention, attention and it needs it since yesterday!
