3 of the key figures in the Mo’ Hits story performed on stage together and the rumour mill is in its overdrive already. But is one performance, which could turn out as random, enough to believe they are about to resolve their difference?
Let us tell you what we know.
Let’s start on a positive note, with D’banj’s assertion while speaking with Olisa Adibua on ‘The Truth in which he said: ‘We ran into each other last year in America and we spoke. I told him that I’m getting offers for us to come back, and he said if the right money comes, we’ll do it again. And don’t forget that part of the break-up settlement from Mo’hits states that I still have some unreleased songs produced by Don Jazzy that I can still release at any time.’
Another point to note: D’banj pointed at Dr Sid as the one who broke up Mo’hits, saying: ‘If I would really be truthful, the first person that broke up Mo’hits is Dr Sid’ and while the latter has refused to speak on the matter, the issue remains unresolved. Will Dr Sid like to work with D’banj again? No impossible but not so likely.
While Dr Sid and Don Jazzy have kept mum on all these, Wande Coal is also an integral part of Mo’hits and a re-union without Wande Coal who recently parted ways with his manager, Bankulli is incomplete. Remember that Wande has been involved in Twitter spats with both Don Jazzy and D’banj at different times.
Don Jazzy will do anything to prove a point with his Mavin crew especially now that they have got the momentum and he would not want to compromise that by bringing D’banj into the mix.
Wande Coal has evolved from that boy they picked up from Mushin several years ago to a man of his own and he’s in a position where he won’t sacrifice that growth or take the back bench for someone else to shine anymore.
Verdict: We can assure you that a Mo’hits reunion is definitely not in the works.

Don’t rule out a Mo’hit Tour or some sort of celebration. It’s all about the Benjamins
