Some churches are very insistent on intending couples to follow their rules of engagement (pun not intended) and as we read recently, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church will not stop at anything to enforce congregants to toe the conservative line.
Only last week, a bride at an MFM parish was reported to have had her hair cut off right in the church premises before the wedding was conducted.
The craziest just happened here now.. MFM mummies just cut my bride’s hair attachment.. (Natural hair), rubbed her eyebrows.. Wao.

They even descended on the Hair stylist for grumbling saying she is shackles and needs deliverance. The babe wanted to cause a real scene… https://t.co/CkdxoU2YAy

Hair extensions are worldy things. We should work towards heavenly materials. https://t.co/QNsRqaFRjS

FYI, that’s hair style in contention.
MFM said this is BAD, had the bride cut it off in church.

Well, Oyindamola and Gbenga Olojede obviously did not want any such drama on their wedding day. For church, the bride went as plain Jane with no make-up, no weave, no earring and wore a loose fitting dress.
By the time reception started however, she looked like a different person: she had changed into a more contemporary glittery bridal dress, face beat like a model complete with dropping earrings and had a LIT wedding!
She even changed into TWO more reception dresses!
It’s a win-win for her and the church. They got what they wanted and she got the wedding of a lifetime. It gives new meaning to the biblical admonition: ‘Give unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and give unto God what is God’s.’
