Allow me to state the obvious by saying Weird MC is a pioneer whose contribution to the Nigerian music scene can never be overemphasized. Her tom-boyish attitude which makes her unique and ranks her as one of the most energetic performers has not been matched by any other female rapper…so far.
Her debut album ‘Simply Weird‘ might not have reached all corners of the country upon it’s release,but her male counterparts duff their hats in appreciation. With her come back album ‘After the Storm‘, Weird MC won the hearts of those that thought she was gone forever. Remember how you danced to ‘Ijoya‘?
‘Happy Day‘ is blissful, inspirational and a bright step for the energy oozing rapper. Her first single ‘Jehovah (Da Paper Song)‘ might not have struck the chords of music pundits but this positive number will. The video which was directed by the very popular Sesan Ogunro (D’banj – Mr. Endowed, Gbona feli feli), is quite colourful to taste and depicts every sense of the song. We anticipated her next album…
