A wedding fair and expo, tagged ‘WED EXPO’ has been announced to hit Lagos, the fashion and commercial capital of the country on the Saturday, March 24 and 25, 2012.
The exhibition, which organizers have dubbed the ‘Mother of all Exhibitions’ as far as Nigeria’s events and entertainment is concerned, will feature a diverse collection of wedding accessories and products from a range of exhibitors cutting across the make-up industry, bridal houses, photography studios, dress makers designer couture, cake makers and a host of other related industries.
Organizers also add that there be innovative features added to the fair including a runway show which will bring together ‘leading fashion exponents on the entertainment scene.’ Designers are also expected to take advantage of the runway show to exhibit their latest products.
‘The WED Expo Lagos, promises to be an event you will not forget in a longtime, this is going to be Nigeria’s largest wedding exhibition with visitors coming from all over to Lagos. It will be an opportunity for those coming to the exhibition to explore ways through which we can be of help to them and at the same time experience the beauty of having several professionals giving tips on how to plan their weddings or that of their loved ones and they can also purchase wedding materials and procure services at second-to-none prices’, says WED publisher, Akin Eso.
The debut edition will take place at The Haven, GRA, Ikeja.
