‘We should have been better,’ Bobby Brown said in a new interview with ABC‘s Robin Roberts, which airs tonight. ‘We could have been better.’
The 21-year-old’s untimely passing stirred up huge controversy, as the rumoured adopted son of Whitney and Bobbi’s boyfriend at the time of her death, Nick Gordon was seriously fingered as a mastermind behind the incident.

47-year-old Bobby Brown doesn’t think otherwise, as he said during the reflective interview: ‘It’s not a mystery to me,’ he told Roberts.
‘The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney … There’s only one person that was around both occasions, only one person who says they were there to protect them … and he didn’t,’ he added, to which Roberts replied, ‘You won’t say his name – Nick Gordon is who you’re referring to.’
‘I won’t say his name,’ Brown said.
