Unknown gunmen have reportedly shot and kidnapped a Wazobia FM OAP, Akas Baba, around 2am on Thursday, March 13, 2014, at his home in Port Harcourt.
His wife, Candy Akatakpo confirmed that her husband was shot on the leg and abducted by the gunmen at their Rumuekini residence, in the presence of his family.
She also revealed that Akas Baba a.k.a Anthony Akatakpo, was driven away in a Mitsubishi Endeavor SUV.
Meanwhile, the police have said they can’t act on the matter until after 24hours, when it can be lawfully recognised as a kidnap case.
