Popular Wazobia FM OAP, Chinedu ‘Nedu Wazobia’ Emmanuel will be part of the selected panelists to speak at the MTN ‘Drug Convos’ webinar tomorrow, Friday, June 26, 2020, at 1:30 pm.
The panel will feature Actress and ViacomCBS Networks Africa presenter, Folu Storms; recording artiste, Praiz; and artiste and actor, David Jones David. They will discuss how first-time users get hooked and addiction.
The event comes on the heels of the MTN’s Anti-Substance Abuse Programme (ASAP) in 2019. Following the success of the programme, plans were set to build an annual campaign focused on reducing substance abuse in young Nigerians in the age range of 10-25.
MTN is also partnering with Netng MTV Base, Business Day, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), to host the Drug Convos, for this groundbreaking online event.
