The singer performed a medley of two of his biggest hits, ‘Ye’ and ‘Anybody’ from his most recent releases, ‘Outside’ and ‘African Giant’, for the audience at the show. If you ever doubted that Burna Boy has raw and pure talent, then you should be convinced with this performance. He slowed down the songs’ tempo a bit with a live band and delivered a masterful performance.

There was one back up singer to provide a sweet feminine voice to the performance.
This is the second major American Prime Time TV show appearance that the self-acclaimed African Giant is appearing in within one month.

The singer talked about how music originated from Africa and why he believes that African music is blowing up around the world right now. He also explains his genre of music, Afro music, saying “it’s like a pizza, It’s like imagine a pizza, what’s the main thing in a pizza, that every pizza needs, its the flour”. He continues by saying “So Afrobeat is the base, and then now you can have any pizza that you want but you have the Afrobeat base. There is the hip-hop (pepperoni), there is the dancehall (ham), all types of you know, I just kind of make a nice pizza every time.”
