Controversial former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gifty Powers has come out in a new interview to admit she indeed was married.
And it gets better.
Known in the house for kissing just about anybody, Gifty stated to Hip TV, ‘Yes, I was once married,’ before adding, ‘It’s a dark part of my life that I don’t wanna ever go back.’

Fighting back tears, Gifty had this advice for young ones out there.
‘My advice to every young girl out there is, before you go into marriage, you have to physically, mentally, emotionally and psychologically mature.’
Recall that in February, news surfaced of her marriage to Nollywood movie director, David Sorochukwu Akumah.
The marriage however lasted for five months only, with word being that she moved on to Lagos in search of fame.
She’s also said to have briefly dated Flavour as well as singer, Mr 2Kay after her marriage.
Now that Gifty’s come clean on the marriage rumour, one awaits when Thin Tall Tony will come clean about his marriage status in the house.
Hopefully, not when he’s out of the house.
