Funke Akindele is ready to brighten up the holiday season again with her new Nollywood movie, Behind the Scenes, coming out on December 12.
The movie stars a great group of actors, including Big Brother Naija stars and DJ duo Wanni x Handi, as well as popular actors like Uche Montana, Scarlet Gomez, Tobi Bakre, Uzor Arukwe, Vee, Mr Macaroni, Ini Dinma Okojie, Iyabo Ojo, Ibrahim Chatta, Dele Odule, Destiny Etiko, Kamo, Afeez Oyetoro, and Ejiro Onojafe.
This is Funke Akindele’s third movie released in December in a row, after her hits Tribe of Judah in 2023 and Everybody Loves Jenifa in 2024. She has become one of the top filmmakers for holiday movies in Nigeria.
Behind the Scenes tells a strong and emotional story about the Nigerian entertainment world. It shows the hard work, struggles, and sadness that happen behind the bright lights and glamour. The movie shares real-life stories, including Funke Akindele’s own tough journey to success.
