The super talented but under-celebrated singer-songwriter is finally ready to release her long awaited debut album.
She announced this week, to widespread excitement, that the much-delayed body of work will now be available from May 1, 2013.
WAJE whose first major spotlight was her lead-but-anonymous appearance on Psquare’s hit single, ‘Do Me’, has been in the shadows of many hit-makers for many years, helping others make huge hits while waiting for her turn to shine.
Recent collaborators include Omawumi and M.I. And there are dozens more, who have benefited from her touch of genius.
She also participated and emerged runner-up in the MTV Base and ZAIN Nigeria organized ‘ADVANCED WARNING’, a reality TV show which featured artists that were on the verge of a break through.
‘We re ready. I have done my part. God is doing the rest’, an excited WAJE wrote to her fans on social media.
Words are not just enough to describe what’s coming on May 1. The album itself, many pundits believe, will show the world the beauty of Waje’s art…
