On December 12, 1997, musician Yinka Ayefele was on his way to attend a programme at OGBC, Ibadan when he was involved in a motor accident on Abeokuta road in which he sustained a spinal cord injury.
‘It was terrible‘, Ayefele told Adeola Fayehun on Sahara TV, as he narrated his unfortunate experience.
The ‘feel good’ musician says he was admitted at the University College Hospital, Ibadan where he stayed for the next nine months.
