Rapper and entrepreneur Shawn Corey ‘Jay Z’ Carter wowed fans in Philadelphia at his ‘Made In America’ concert last night Saturday, September 1, 2012.
The 42-year-old Brooklyn native performed some of his greatest hits such as ‘Empire State of Mind’, ‘Big Pimpin’ and more during the 90-minute show.
But what made it more memorable was the reunion with former label mates Memphis Bleek, Freeway, a collaborative performance with Kanye West and a video speech from President Barrack Obama in front of 50,000 people.
Other performers were Maybach Music artistes Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill, Jay Electronica, G.O.O.D Music, Swizz Beatz and Janelle Monae. The two-day concert will feature Pearl Jam, Run DMC and Drake on Sunday, August 2, 2012.
