On Thursday, May 21, 2015, award winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie stirred controversy when he claimed American hip hop act, Acehood contacted him for their collaboration on the song, ‘New Guy’.
Acehood put a lie to the claim by taking to Twitter and revealing that the Ghanaian rapper actually paid him $25k before the collaboration. He consequently deleted Twitter pictures he took with Sarkodie.
