American rapper, Michael Wayne Atha was popularly known as Yelawolf has been with Shady Records for quite a while but officially announced his departure from the record label owned and founded in 1999 by rapper, Eminem .
Yelawolf made the announcement on stage while performing one of his biggest hits ‘Love Story’ on stage in Colorado. The 38-year-old rapper shared that his forthcoming album, Trunk Muzik 3, due in September will be the last under Eminem’s imprint.
“Trunk Muzik 3 is my last album on Shady Records,” Yelawolf said from the stage. “Five fuckin’ albums on Shady Records. I feel blessed for that. Make some noise for Marshall Mathers”

Yelawolf picked up in 2011 when he and supergroup Slaughterhouse joined the label and his exit seems to be on amicable terms.
