Just after two albums and a bag of compilations, Nigerian-German hip hop/soul singer and songwriter Nneka has risen to a status most of the Nigerian singers crave – International recognition and awards.
But unlike her counterparts, she has stuck her self with more topical issues that can be about societal change. She obviously isn’t changing anytime soon as her third album ‘Soul is Heavy‘ follows the same path as the last two.
The video to the first single ‘My Home‘ is simple yet creative. It tells the stories of four persons but all depict the same message. The quest for freedom. Watch below…
