Notable hip hip hop act, Jesse Jagz made a surprise appearance at brother, M.I’s album listening party on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in Lagos.
The dreadlocks-wearing Jagz, whose real name is Jesse Abaga, went on to join his brother on stage for the first time since leaving ‘Chocolate City in 2013.
Now very well known and respected for his diverse tunes ranging from R&B to roots reggae, pop and rap, Jagz has continued displaying his versatility in production and performances since he founded his own label, Jagz Nation last year upon leaving Choc City.
Jesse, who grew up in Jos, Plateau State along with his brother, was at the Industry Nite edition/album listening for MI’s new album, The Chairman which dropped on Thursday, October 30, 2014, as a surprise guest.
The large crowd at the venue, Spice Route, Victoria Island, became excited upon learning Jesse was at the event and joining his brother on stage soon after, Jesse Jagz did not disappoint his fans at all, performing two of his hit songs including the hugely loved ‘Bad Girl’ featuring Wizkid.
