Not even the absence of electricity, known as Dumsor in Ghana could stop live transmission of programmes by Joy News, a popular radio station in the West African nation.
The radio station resorted to the use of a rechargeable lantern to serve its audience news, Dumsor or no Dumsor. The epileptic power supply is presently causing ripples in Ghana as a number of celebs have vowed to hold a peaceful protest on Saturday, May 16, 2015 despite warnings from some of the aides of the Ghana’s President against such.
In this video, shared via Instagram by Yvonne Nelson the reporter is seen reading the news with the aid of a rechargeable lantern.
