Other exciting plans in the pipeline for 2015/6 include the creation of brand new themed events for VIMN Africa’s comedy, kids and general entertainment channels, including an international comedy festival (Comedy Central), and a Nigerian version of family friendly festival NickFest (Nickelodeon).
The network also promises to continue to stage and broadcast its renowned annual international event franchises from around the world including the MTV EMAs (MTV/MTV Base, 25 October 2015), the VMAs (MTV/MTV Base, August 2016), The Movie Awards (MTV/MTV Base, April 2016), BET Honors (BET, February 2016), The BET Awards (June 2015), BET Hip Hop Awards (October 2015), Black Girls Rock (BET, April 2016) and The Nickelodeon KCAs (March 2016).
