Ghanaian hip life singer, Castro who has been missing for almost a year now, had his hit song ‘Seihor’ awarded the best Hip-life Song of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which took place on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Castro, whose real name is Theophilus Tagoe, went missing along with his partner, Janet Bandu in July 2014 after they allegedly joined Asamoah Gyan’s family on a Jet ski holiday in Accra but never returned, received an accolade at the ceremony.
Castro’s ‘Seihor’ was named ahead of Guru’s ‘Pooley’, VVIP’s ‘Selfie’, D-Black’s ‘Personal Person,’ Samini’s ‘Iskoki’ and Sarkodie’s ‘Adonai’ to scoop the award.
