Respected Nollywood actress, Joke Silva has lost her mum, Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva to the cold hands of death. The mother of the veteran actress died yesterday, July 19, 2015 at the age of 89.
The late Dr. Abimbola Silva is a foremost medical doctor who is reputed to be the third female Nigerian medical doctor. She was recognised by the Federal Government in 1979 with the award of the Officer of the Order of Niger (OON). She is survived by 5 children including the White Waters actress.
