UK boy band Ryan Parrott & The Rumours are not exactly saying that in words; but when they uploaded a video clip of themselves performing D’banj’s ‘Oliver‘, you could tell that action speaks louder than words.
The group who are known to cover songs from Drake to Rihanna tried out their luck with the infectious single and scored a pass mark! Although they make minor adjustments to the original lyrics (Sorry, they yanked out names like Omotola, Genevieve and Nadia Buari), it still sounds really good and familiar.
Yet again we say D’banj might just have found his way into the UK market, and with an upcoming performance at the BBC’s Hackney Weekend 2012 in June, who knows what’s to follow?.
