Viewers of Tyme out with Tee A, one of Nigeria’s leading family comedy shows are in for a lot of fun and excitement if the recently concluded recording for the show’s third season is anything to go by.
With a wider range of guests, bigger and better studio, richer live audience and improved set, Tee A seems set to take the show to a new level, even as he says the hit programme will now broadcast in over 17 countries – both on cable and terrestial platforms.
The new season started recording on Monday, April 16, and ended on Thursday, April 19, according to the producers. The show features interviews, guest performances and a live band with a live studio audience, blended with comedy from the host Tee A.
Wednesday’s recording session had in attendance guests from the music industry, comedy and broadcasting. The first set of guests on the show were the duo of Eldee and Chocolate City recording artiste, Brymo.
Next was broadcaster, model and Studio 53 extra presenter Eku Edewor who spoke on her love life, aspirations and challenges on the job. Meanwhile, Iyanya performed his new single ‘Kukere’ which means ‘No Problem’ in Efik. He also talked about changing his music to satisfy his fans.
Fellow artiste Chuddy K spoke on his seven year relationship with Wande Coal, with whom he sang lead in the salvation band of Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Comedians MC Abbey and Princess, who are regular faces on the show, were on the hot seat as guests. Rapper Mode 9 and Tilaman were also on the show.
‘It’s an exciting new season, and I’ve enjoyed every minute of the recording’ host Tee A told us yesterday, shortly after ending a recroding session that had Onyeka Onwenu, Samklef and Tiwa Savage.
