Just a little over two years after his father died, Nigerian rapper Olamide has announced the death of his mother.
NET gathered that Mrs Adedeji died on Sunday from an undisclosed illness and the rapper has been distraught.
‘He’s still coming to terms with the shocking realization that he’s now an orphan as his father died not too long ago’, an inside source told us.
Olamide’s Instagram post that shared the tragic news carried the caption ‘There’s no goddess like a mother’ while his brother DJ Enimoney’s page also has a similar photograph.
The announcement comes few hours after Olamide celebrated his son Maximilliano’s fourth birthday.
