One of Nigeria’s pioneer stand-up comedians Tee-A is celebrating his 40th birthday anniversary today Friday, December 19, 2014.
Respected as an impeccable master compere and event coordinator, the comedian started his professional career as an undergraduate of the University of Lagos. He worked within the campus for years, building a fan base that eventually propelled him into the consciousness of an entertainment industry in need of funny men.

Mentored by Ali Baba who himself started out as an undergraduate of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Tee-A learned the ropes quickly and captured the attention of an entire country.
In July 2000 he became the first Nigerian comedian to stage his own Solo show, with the introduction of his ‘Live & Naked’ concert series.
Tee-A studied Yoruba at UNILAG where he met his wife Kehinde Fatukasi.
He attended Betrima high school around Anthony Village in Lagos where he grew up.
‘I’m eternally grateful to The Lord for the grace to see this very special age’, he told Nigerian Entertainment Today [NET] in a chat this morning.
Apart from comedy, Tee A is a restauranteur, an entertainment entrepreneur and the founder of First Class Entertainment and First Class Screens. His family TV show ‘Tymeout With Tee A’ is a global hit, showing in five continents and hundreds of countries around the world. He is also a ‘first class cook’ as testified by his wife of 10 years.
