Here’s the ‘boarding pass’ guests hoping to attend this year’s edition of Cupid’s ball will have to obtain.
The beloved showbiz couple told NET today, that couples who want to spend the valentine sailing aboard the prestigous Nire Prest Cruise Liner should ‘get their return tickets and obtain boarding passes to fill limited spaces’.
”Everyone is on first class”, she says.
”It’s not just another Valentine event”, Wunmi Obe tells NET via email. ”We make it special every year; especially with the lingerie show, the celebrity red carpet (hosted this year by Soundcity’s Denrele), back-to-back performances, multi-course meals and a blind date segment”.
Wunmi and her husband Tunde are one of Nigeria’s most celebrated lovers; and showbiz industry’s number one couple. According to them, the annual Cupid’s Ball is their own way of ”celebrating love, loving and lovers in an environment where the letters of ROMANCE are spelt in capital letters”.

Tunde and Wunmi have been lovers since they met at campus band ‘Turning Point’ in 1988 while both undergraduates. They dated for 10 years and got married on June 26, 1998.
This year’s event, organised in conjuction with Primetime Entertainment, with support from Encomium, Soundcity, Now Muzik, AIT, Global Excellence and Nigezie, will hold on Sunday February 14. The boat will sail at 6pm, according to a statement from the couple.
