Christmas comes but once a year, and it IS the most wonderful time of the year!!! I’ve come up with ten reasons to love Christmas; Not like I need any!
10. Christmas is the best time to fall in love
Yup yup! Blame it on harmattan or all those lights, but everything feels so good around Christmas! So take the plunge, fall in love!
9. Best Reason to Break a Diet
What diet are you currently on? Have you been hungry all year long? Good news, it’s Christmas time, so break the rules and the diet, and grab some food. Then go for seconds
8. Best time for cheesy movies
Truth is, we all love to watch cheesy movies once in a while. But unless it’s val’s day or Christmas, you can’t really admit to it. So there you go. Be it a dog saving Christmas or some Christmas mail movie, tell yourself it’s okay. P.s, “Love Actually” is THE movie!!!
7. Best Time to make amends
Been bad all year round? Haven’t spoken to your friend since she ‘borrowed’ your shoes in August? It’s Christmas! Send a message, say hello.
6. It just makes you happy
Everything making you smile? Can’t seem to get upset? No, you’re not pregnant. It’s just Christmas!
5. No Traffic
This usually holds true from like the middle of December, but this month has been stubborn. Haba. Fear not though. Christmas promises free roads (by Lagos standards).
4. See old friends
You know that chick you went to secondary school with? She’s probably coming home for christmas! Yay! And your best friend in Primary school? He’s around already. Everyone is home! See old friends! s.h.a.r.e new gist!
3. Throw out the bad
If it happened in 2012, leave it here. We’re not taking bad feelings and experiences to the new year.
