My favourite exercise is lifting the remote control up and pressing the buttons. It really strengthens the muscles!!!
While I would watch almost anything when it’s on, I beseech thee do not call or talk to me when the following are on.
– Top Chef
People battling it out for something is always cool but when it is chefs, that’s cooler for a foodie like myself. I mean, all the food they make, from the quick fire to the elimination challenges, I spend the 45minutes I watch ‘Top Chef’ hungry.
And I like it like that
– ‘Us and Them’
This is a sit-com about two people who first met online then decided to give dating a go. Their lives are complicated by the distance they live and their odd families.
It stars Alexis Bendel who I have adored from ‘Gilmore Girls’ and it is funny.
– Ellen
Oprah might be the queen of talk but Ellen is the class clown and that’s just fine with me.
From silly games she makes her audience and guests play, to questions she asks and random things she does, she is one of my favourite people on television.
– Cold Case
Crime is always great to watch and the premise of ‘Cold Case’ is a good one, detectives try to solve cold (old cases). The stories are always interesting, and seeing how they move from one decade to the other makes it even more so.
– ‘The Voice’
Talent based reality shows are always fun to watch but ‘The Voice’ is just special with judges that spar and compete just as much as contestants.
Pharell replaces Usher and Gwen Stefani replaces Shakira so it feels a bit different but I’m warming up to them already!
– Family Feud
‘We asked 100 people, what reason would someone make fun of your car?’
This is the kind of question to expect on the game show, ‘Family Feud’, hosted by funny man, Steve Harvey.
Two families compete against each other giving answers to questions previously polled. It’s fun, fast and a great way to spend your day.
– Rookie Blue
For some reason, ‘Rookie Blue’ hasn’t quite captivated me as the previous seasons did but it is early days yet.
Still, I am glad the gang is back.
– Blue Blood
I love police drama, especially when it involves the Reagan family. From the now oldest brother (the oldest brother died in an earlier season) who is ruggedly handsome and a family man, to the D.A sister and her not-a-girl-not-yet-a-woman daughter, to the youngest cute son and the grandkids and grand-dad and Police Commissioner dad.
Blue Blood is well written and well acted and a delightful way to spend 45minutes.
– The Mentalist
I thought once Patrick Jane caught Red John, ‘The Mentalist’ would become truly boring.
‘The Mentalist’ is still really good!!!
It’s more psychological than physical and has the stoic but adorable Cho as well so I’m game!!!
– And to the show I can’t wait to have back!!!
Nashville!
