The Titanic ship sank on April 15, 1912. The ship was found in 1985 and a movie was made in 1997 in remembrance of the tragic accident. The Titanic movie made us laugh, cry and believe in the power of true love.
We look back at some of the most romantic moments from the film.
1. The Reunion: The moment an older Rose dreamt about meeting up with Jack and others from the ship. It was a very sweet, romantic and fitting end for the movie.
2. I’ll never let go: Jack made Rose promise that she would fight to stay alive until she was found even though he was battling for his life and lost it.
3. I’m flying: Jack helped to make Rose feel alive by helping her climb to the side of the ship and holding her while she felt the breeze flowing through her hair. It was the sweetest trust exercise.
4. Put your hands on me Jack: This was the first time they ever had sex.
5. When Jack met Rose: Rose was going to commit suicide by jumping off the ship to avoid marrying a man she detested when they met. She only agreed not to kill herself after Jack threatened that he would have to jump into the water after her. He told her that they would probably both die from cold instead of drowning.
